Community and social events are an important part of the exchange experience in Salzburg. In addition to school participation and activities, students have the opportunity to connect with other international participants through organized events, group experiences and shared activities throughout the program.

International Evening
International Evenings bring students from different countries together to share traditions, music, food and cultural experiences in a welcoming and international atmosphere. Participants have the opportunity to present aspects of their home culture while learning more about the backgrounds and traditions of other students. These evenings encourage communication, cultural exchange and new international friendships in a relaxed social environment.
International Evenings usually take place on Thursday or Friday evenings.
Group Excursions
Organized group excursions allow students to explore Salzburg and the surrounding regions together through sightseeing, outdoor activities and cultural experiences. Popular destinations include alpine landscapes, lakes, historic landmarks and nearby attractions across the Salzburg region. The excursions provide students with the opportunity to discover Austria in a safe and organized environment while building friendships and sharing experiences with other participants.
Group excursions are typically organized on weekends or during free afternoons.
Workshops & Social Activities
Interactive workshops and social activities provide students with opportunities to communicate, collaborate and participate in shared experiences throughout the program. Activities may include creative workshops, language exchange sessions, team-building exercises and group discussions designed to encourage intercultural communication and teamwork. These events create a welcoming environment where students can connect with others outside of school and internships.
